Alyssa Wright

Alyssa Wright is an experienced leader of open and civic technology development. She works to build innovative products and processes that replace the mantra of “move fast and break things” with the awareness of “move purposely and fix things.”

Most recently, she is the Director of Community at the Open Source Collective, a nonprofit that promotes a sustainable and ethical open ecosystem with the legal and financial infrastructures to thrive.

Alyssa builds open source resiliency with models of partnership and collaboration. Her work ranges from the design of a data collaborative with the World Bank to business operations at open source blockchain, IoT, and smart city startups. And her greatest honor? Serving on the board of OpenStreetMap US, one of the largest open technology projects in the world.
