Justin currently works as a full-stack DevOps Software Engineer at Optum, part of UnitedHealth Group, where he advocates for the promotion of open source toolchains, and cloud methodologies. His current interests range from Infrastructure as Code, to tracing of distributed microservices and event-driven architectures.

Justin regularly hosts a series of hands-on DevOps workshops within the office, with a variety of topics including: Docker containers, Kubernetes, CI/CD with Jenkins, instrumenting observability with Fluentd and the Elastic Stack, and Change Data Capture.
