Marissa Crosby is a Product Manager at Optum working to accelerate cloud adoption through innovative, developer-facing products. Most recently, she led a team to build and launch an open source product at AWS re:invent in December 2019. The product, Disposable Cloud EnvironmentTM, enables its users to quickly explore cloud technology in a secure and cost-controlled manner. Prior to becoming a product professional, Marissa was a developer on multiple health care technology initiatives and has had great success bringing this perspective with her into product management. Marissa enjoys public speaking and mentoring women in technology to make an impact by finding their voices. She is passionate about tackling some of the toughest challenges in health care through the formidable combination of empowered DevOps teams and modern technologies.
