Paul Dix is the creator of InfluxDB, the leading open source time series database, and the founder and CTO of InfluxData. He has helped build software for startups, large companies and organizations like Microsoft, Google, McAfee, Thomson Reuters, and Air Force Space Command. Paul is a strong advocate for open source technologies and believes that they must be shared liberally to realize the innovation that is possible. He’s an alum of Y Combinator’s winter 2013 class and started the NYC Machine Learning Meetup in 2009, which now has over 7,000 members.
