• Architected and led the DevOps Team on the implementation of Enterprise DevOps/DevSecOps pipeline
• Partnered with Operations to implement Kubernetes Hybrid Cloud, concept to deploying apps into production in one year
• Evangelizing DevOps, Kubernetes, and Hybrid Cloud throughout Duke Energy and several conferences, through multiple speaking engagements and presentations
• Work with several application teams, including Big Data, Database, and Kafka teams, guiding them on containerizing or running applications on Docker and Kubernetes, including brownfield applications, saving hundreds of thousands of dollars in licensing and infrastructure costs

• Teamed up with Sourcing/Compliance and CyberSecurity on new Open Source Vulnerability Management System, developing new standards and work flows, and educating the development community
• Collaborated with CyberSecurity and consulting company on Rapid Risk Assessment to determine threat profile and test matrix
• Designed and led a new IT department of Architects and Developers for a business unit including technology stack, standards, and processes
• Led the implementation of Duke’s first CI/CD (now called DevOps) pipeline in a Business Unit
• Brought Spring and Hibernate into Duke over a decade ago
• Introduced Microservices into Duke four years ago
• Work with Enterprise Architecture discussing new standards and processes, and design reviews
