Book Track & Free Books! Courtesy of IBM
We truly love technology / open source books, which is why we always ask speakers that are authors to stay around and sign books for attendees.
And guess what? IBM feels the same way we do.
We've partnered with IBM on a number of book giveaways and signing sessions at both conferences and meetups in the past, and they're incredibly gracious to partner with us again in 2020 to make everything possible.
While the signings won't be in person, obviously, we're making the next best thing possible - a session with the author discussing the book (why it was written, target audience, what readers will take away, etc.) and free signed physical books and ebooks being made available to attendees. Think of it as CSPAN's Book Notes, but with technical books and free books thrown in.
The "Books" track will be held Monday, October 19 over the course of the day and will feature 6 45 minute sessions with authors.
The authors and books to be included and given away include:
11:00 - 11:45 am ET Jean-Georges Perrin, Advance Auto Parts
Spark in Action, second edition
