Why ATO 2020 Will Be Virtual in 2020

We love in-person events!

Anyone that has attended an event we've hosted in the past knows that. We hope it comes through and shows, and if it doesn't, we consider it a failure on our part. We love to talk to attendees and partners of all types and get to know them, help as much as possible, and in some cases, even give them hugs and lots of handshakes. We love handshakes and hugs a bunch, where appropriate of course.

With that said, it's especially tough to announce this year's All Things Open conference will be hosted online as a virtual event only.

While we want attendees, and people in general, to have access to great in-person education and networking opportunities - and we truly enjoy making them possible, what we love even more is seeing those same people healthy and alive, available to fulfill their full potential.

The fact is that COVID-19 is still with us, and the associated risks and uncertainties far outweigh the benefits that any in-person event might bring. While we had hoped for a different outcome, we can't ignore the facts. Attendee safety has always been our #1 priority, and it always will be.

We're working very hard to ensure the 2020 virtual event is the very best ATO ever, and we strongly feel it will be. Speakers, sponsors and partners from all over the world have come together with that common goal in mind - and it has been amazing to watch. We are beyond grateful and appreciative.

We sincerely hope you'll register for this year's event and get to know us and our community. And in future years we hope you'll come out and meet us face to face. We'll greet you with a smile and a warm embrace, guaranteed.
